the sweet spot

there's a beautiful sweet spot, it's probably always here (i don't know for sure because i don't always feel i'm "here").
it's here, not in the future, where our thoughts are pulled.
it's here, not in the past, where our emotions try to hold us.
for me, it's in creating and making, smoothing and refining things artistically, bringing them to life, being right here with them as they come to be.
it's here, wanting just a little bit, then letting the want go for a while and not wanting at all.
it's here, embracing a difficulty, then growing stronger after it passes.
it's here, listening to the words of the wise, to the sounds of beauty in its many forms, then hearing only silence.
there's a sweet spot right here, between the agony and the ecstasy, that makes them both worth the experience.
it's here now.
