as such, he is sponsored by a giant of a company that makes, among other things, shoes.
sport shoes in particular, of which they give him many free pairs.
this fellow came by with a generous selection of new sport shoes in a bag.
he said "here, take a pair, or two if you like".
my friend is a young man who is wise beyond his years,
perhaps even beyond his own awareness as such.
